Guess who’s back…I hope you are enjoying yourselves this holiday season.Let’s get back to our 12days of Christmas shall we?
If you are a regular at this blog then you already know the trend that stole my heart this year.I have had mad love for the off-shoulder detail. My shoulders have had a major moment this year and I am still basking at its goodness. It is quite accommodating irregardless of your age or size you get to show some skin without feeling too exposed. I also really bought into the choker trend in its simplicity and retro vibe.
I just realised that until a few weeks ago I didn’t have a single baby blue outfit not a top, sweater, dress nothing!I was shocked seeing as I do not exactly have a favorite color and my closet is literally a rainbow but I had somehow managed to stay away from this hue which I think is beautiful and have nothing against it! However I tend to gravitate towards colours that flatter my complexion such as oranges, reds, golden yellow, amber, olive green and mustard. And,that could have easily influenced my unconscious decision to stay away from it but after I got this jumpsuit there have been a couple of baby blue additions in my wardrobe!
Karl Lagerfeld famously said:’ one is never overdressed or under-dressed with a little black dress.” And I couldn’t agree more it’s pretty hard to go wrong in this classic piece! One of the things I love about the lbd is its simplicity and sophistication. What’s more I can’t think of one occasion in which the black dress won’t have you covered. It’s one of those pieces that I believe every woman should have in her arsenal!
It’s New Year’s Eve and it’s time to take Beyoncés advice, “pull out the big guns and put your freakum dress on!” It can be challenging to find a truly wow -‘em dress that makes you look good without trying too hard, something chic with just the right bit of sexy! The perfect freakum dress bares enough skin to catch glances but also conceals your assets, leaving some mystery and intrigue.
This month’s challenge is a habit that I didn’t exactly make a conscious effort to develop but due to the cold I developed a flu that gave me a dry throat that for a week or so that I would wake up to drinking warm water first thing in the morning. I found it to be so refreshing and energizing that I have been trying to take an extra glass of warm water after my morning routine intake of lemon water.
Hey guys it’s that time of the month where we get to choose a healthy habit and develop it together. I know this post is long overdue seven days late to be precise but better late than never right? Before I get to this month’s habit challenge,I am happy to report that last month’s habit challenge (see here) was a success!!
