5 lies I’ve stopped telling myself

5 lies I've stopped telling myself

Sometimes what is standing between us and achieving our dreams is ourselves. The lies that we tell ourselves on a daily basis play a big role on who we are. They make us a little blind to our own amazing capabilities. They bruise our self esteem, crush our self confidence and leave us looking for it everywhere except the very place that we will find it: within ourselves. They create new doubts in our minds and new fears out of thin air. With this in mind I have decided to change the narrative in my head and the big little lies I have continuously allowed to hold me back from being the very best version of myself. Continue Reading

Hey Hey,

I would like to believe that I am not alone in my madness, er obsession, towards off-shoulder pieces case in point this particular one that I would very much  like to spend the rest of my life in except the weather won’t let me prosper!Off-the-shoulder tops are still having a moment with me atleast I mean can we just talk about this top;the print and the ruffles! (insert heart eyes emoji) Floral pieces have been speaking to me lately so you can imagine my excitement when I came across this top! Two for two for sure! Continue Reading

Happily Grey

April 6, 2017

Hello lovelies,

I have been really loving grey lately and the amazing backdrop it provides especially when color blocked with brighter colors such as pink and yellow. I take my cues from floral and printed pieces since it’s easier to study how the colors are played against each other and it’s from there where you get to see the beauty of unusual color pairings that are subtle and loud. Skirt the rules!

December 9, 2016
skirt the rules

Well heya pretty!

Keeping it short and sweet in today’s post because honestly my mind is already on Christmas break.
Also can you believe that we are only three weeks away from 2017? Do we even still have 24hours a day anymore?
I intended to post this look a while back as an alternative way to spot this skirt when I did this post but I lost the files till a few days back when they magically re-appeared like ‘hey we heard you were looking for us’. This was a  look that would pass as both formal and casual depending on your mood/day. I paired it with black sleeveless high neck top and a blazer which formalizes any outfit. Continue Reading

Grey and Bright

grey and bright

Happy new month lovelies!

Is it just me or does December make you want to break into a little dance.I have always wanted a pair of boyfriend jeans but I never found any that quite met my preferences. I wanted something slouchy, lose fitted and distressed to no avail till now and I have been living in them. They are such a perfect blend of perfection just the right amount of  flare and distress and a mixture of 70s and 90s vibe.WIN!WIN!WIN! When it comes to being comfortable, no jean has your back truly like boyfriend jeans. Loose, cuffed, with just the perfect touch of masculinity—the look works whether you want to keep things ultra-laid back or dressed up.I’ve been a bit under the weather lately therefore sweaters, coats and scarfs have been my jam despite the sun coming out to play hence the decision to marry them to this turtle neck cardigan that I absolutely love(Hi,my name is Rosemary and I’m an addict-oh knits!). I ,however ,can’t wait to style them with more light and airy pieces like tees and off-shoulder tops to really soak in the sun this December! Continue Reading

Love Letter

November 24, 2016
love letter

Have you ever written a letter to yourself? You know, the same way you would write a love letter to someone else? Highlighting all the things you are grateful to them for and what you love about them? I know the idea sounds a bit kookoo or whatever but its not the worst idea ever right? I have been thinking about writing an honest letter to myself. A love letter. The kind that would make a stranger fall in love with you even before they have met you! Someday in December I will sit with myself and try my best to recollect the year. I intend to be honest, kind and above all proud of myself because all things considered it has been a pretty darn good year. Focus on all the lessons I’ve learned and how my strength got me through  as I celebrate my victories and pat myself on the back with self love and pride. No negativity,no self pity or beating myself down nothing but love baby girl!Nothing but LOVE. Continue Reading

Girl Interrupted

September 8, 2016

Hey Loves,

I am always down for casual laid back jean days but in this current weather even that feels like a little too much. Its either my feet are freezing in my shoes till am numb or it cutting off my circulation in my pants. Honestly, the sun should come up already before I make the cast for the walking dead! Also I haven’t watched anything more disturbing looks like pretty little liars is more my speed lol. Continue Reading
