What are you up to this weekend? If you have a few minutes to spare here’s a simple recipe of my favorite mango smoothie that you can try out. It being the mango season you might have noticed that we have mangoes coming out of our ears at this point. Like a KGB they are everywhere and the good news is they are very affordable and, this recipe takes all of ten minutes to prepare and bam! You have a delicious mango passion smoothie!
- 1 large mango, peeled, stoned and chopped
- 1 banana, chopped
- 4 passion fruits
- 1 glass of orange juice
- Ice cubes
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed until smooth.
- Devour immediately!
I like my smoothies thick so I don’t add a lot of liquid just a little to help it blend. This smoothie also makes a great post workout snack!
