This post comes in late because I couldn’t get out of my head long enough to realize that we win some and we lose some and being hard on yourself only keeps you in the loser department for longer than necessary. Case in point: I wasn’t impressed by the outcome of the photos I took in my last shoot day which I have realized is as a result of seeking perfect results instead of cutting my losses and deciding to do better next time;its the only way there will be a next time. So here’s to getting out of our heads and doing better next time. So expect to see the good,the bad maybe not the ugly.

At the beginning of this year I made a mental note to be abit more out going with my style,hair,jewelry etc. In short, just be comfortable with being EXTRA. Which involves not shying away from bold colors,extra jewelry and bold hairstyles as part of my everyday style.In 2018,we are going bold or going home!
Remember my Last post where I talked about how I am a chronic hoarder well, this is one of those few times where hoarding has actually worked for me. This being the 12th day of the 12 days of Christmas?? and my last post for the year I decided to share some of the lessons I learnt in 2017.
2017 was the year of unlearning. This was my first lesson learn to unlearn and relearn most of what I “know”. To become who you need to be sometimes you have to first become undone, unraveled to your core and figure out who you truly are.
I am using this period between Christmas and New Year to relax, review the year that 2017 has been and think about my 2018 resolutions. Yes, I still write resolutions (see here) because I believe in manifestation of your own dreams and that what you confess you possess. Habakkuk 2:2
