Growing a tiny human in your belly may be one of the most joyous things that can happen in your life – but it also spells disaster for your wardrobe. Here are some of the style struggles that I’ve been experiencing…
This post comes in late because I couldn’t get out of my head long enough to realize that we win some and we lose some and being hard on yourself only keeps you in the loser department for longer than necessary. Case in point: I wasn’t impressed by the outcome of the photos I took in my last shoot day which I have realized is as a result of seeking perfect results instead of cutting my losses and deciding to do better next time;its the only way there will be a next time. So here’s to getting out of our heads and doing better next time. So expect to see the good, the bad maybe not the ugly.
At the beginning of this year I made a mental note to be abit more out going with my style, hair, jewelry etc. In short, just be comfortable with being EXTRA. Remember my Last post where I talked about how I am a chronic hoarder well, this is one of those few times where hoarding has actually worked for me. I bought this beret back in 2013 a time when I was into hats even before being rosemary was being rosemary!I have worn it a number of times in the recent past only because berets are now a thing however I believe there’s an entire year where I didn’t even acknowledge its existence!
I came across this questions on this months Cosmo magazine and thought it a good idea to recreate it so that you guys get to know me a little better. Let’s get up close and personal shall we?
First thing you do when you wake up in the morning? – I take a warm glass of lemon water that’s after hitting the snooze button 34,564 times ??. I have done this successfully for more than four years now. Lately,I add a teaspoon of moringa powder to help in balancing my hormones.
Let me start off with Happy New Year! And a Happy New Month!
I would love to say that 2018 is off to a great start like everyone else on my timeline but the truth is it isn’t…12 days into the year and I had to say goodbye to my grams. It tore me to shreds, turned me inside out and threw me off balance. Some days are warm and sunny and others cold and pitch dark but God…
This being the 12th day of the 12 days of Christmas?? and my last post for the year I decided to share some of the lessons I learnt in 2017.
2017 was the year of unlearning. This was my first lesson learn to unlearn and relearn most of what I “know”. To become who you need to be sometimes you have to first become undone, unraveled to your core and figure out who you truly are.
